At Jamiatul Ummah School, we know the importance of homework in consolidating classroom learning as well as promoting independent study. Teachers set homework on a regular basis. Most homework will be based on content and learning covered in class; however, some homework may be set to challenge pupils and prepare for upcoming learning.
At Jamiatul Ummah, we use Skoolmis as our preferred Management Information System (MIS) software (skoolmis.com). Skoolmis provides a learning platform for teachers to set and record homework. All pupils are provided personal accounts for the software. Homework may be set to be completed either online or in their exercise books. Teachers will aim to alternate between online homework and written homework.
Below is our current homework timetable. Please be aware that homework may also be set outside of this schedule where a need arises. Completion time is usually one week, unless instructed by teachers.
