Jamiatul Ummah: GCSE Results 2018

Jamiatul Ummah School has performed very well in the new 9-1 GCSEs. Our results across the curriculum are excellent, including English and Mathematics.

Hussain Mohammed Ismail, who achieved the equivalent of 10A*, along with memorising the entire Quran by heart, would like to thank the teachers, students and his parents for the persistent support which facilitated his outstanding progress and attainment at Jamiatul Ummah School. He wishes to study Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and History at A Level.

Jamiatul Ummah was ranked the 42nd Best school in England by the Telegraph published in January 2016.

The Principal, Mr Nojarul Islam commented, "Pupils at Jamiatul Ummah have done very well again this year and our school has adapted well to the new 9-1 GCSE’s. Pupils and staff have worked extremely hard throughout the last academic year and we are pleased with the outcomes for the pupils. The school is improving rapidly and aspires to be outstanding in all areas. The progress that pupils make at Jamiatul Ummah is excellent and demonstrates a high commitment from the staff and governors and trustees to ensure our pupils successfully navigate their way into the next phase of their academic life. I am very proud to be part of a school which promotes continuous high achievement whilst contributing to wider British society. I wish students every success for the future. I'd like to congratulate and thank every student for their effort in achieving brilliant results. I would also like to thank my staff and teachers whose relentless efforts have ensured the continuous success of our pupils. The staff, along with Governors and Trustees have dedicated themselves to the progress of our future generations and without whose hard work this outstanding achievement would not be possible.”

Mr Hasan Mueenuddin, the Chairman of Jamiatul Ummah Board of Trustees, was proud of the results achieved by the pupils and added, 'Dawatul Islam continues to invest in our young generations and continuously endeavours toward creating a generation of confident young Muslims who will positively contribute to the wider British Society’. He also thanked the pupils, parents, staff and governors of Jamiatul Ummah School.

The Chairman of the Governing Body, Mr Shabbir Kawsar, also congratulated students and praised staff for their hard work and continued support from the community. He also expressed gratitude to the parents for their trust and ongoing support for the school.
